I didn't have Eli's 2nd Bday pictures taken professionally because I know we have professional pictures coming up when Kate is born. Plus I am really bad about ordering tons of pictures and then I never frame them. So... I took Eli out to an old train and tracks by us and took a few(hundred) pictures myself. Here are the ones left on my sd card.... (Big thank you to Eli's Uncle Ben for getting him to smile for the pics!)
We had a train themed birthday party for Eli the Sunday after his birthday. Here is our buffet train and some other photos of the decor....
The cake and cookies were from A Couple of Sweet Things, and they tasted as good as they look!
I could eat these cookies every meal of every day!
We put favor bags for the kids in luggage. I loved the tags!
Carl made this sign for the front porch.
The kids painted wooden trains. Eli loved it!
Caylee and Nicole doing a craft.
Sweet Taylor could have been included in the decor pictures! She is such a doll. We were glad the Kamps could make it!
These 4 helped me get the party together. I am so thankful for their help!
The swing set was a hit.
A few of Eli's favorite people. We were glad Jack could make it. He brought Eli a Mater Mower which Eli loves!
The Brownfields came too, but we missed Nick. Brock and Bella are so nice to Eli!
He loves his Nana and Papa!
He talks about Uncle Tom all the time. We missed the rest of the Hurst family. They got Eli a fire station which he wanted to take to bed the night he opened it!
Uncle Adam was in Chile and we missed him too. He bought Eli a soccer ball and a t-shirt. So sweet!
Best pals.
Eli got tv's for the car and an etch & sketch from the Schultz grandparents. We were really thankful for the tv on our trip to Michigan the next week!!!
Caylee stayed and played until 9pm that night. They wore each other out, but had a great time together and were so good! She is such a cutie!
Happy #2 Eli!
When I was bringing out the bday cake to sing, Eli wanted everyone to, (in his words), "Pray to Jesus"! Be still my heart!
Thank you Jesus for this sweet little boy!
Happy Birthday to you . . . again!
He wanted to blow out the candle a couple of times.
Have your cake Mr. Eli!
You are so blessed to be surrounded by family and friends who love you so!
