Sweet Siesta Key

Eli's first plane ride. We took him to Siesta Key for his first vacation!
Eli's first time in the ocean. It turns out he has a Richter gene after all. We had a hard time keeping him out of the ocean. He made a break for it every chance he got, as you will see in the images below.
Notice the Hurst boys sitting so nicely for the pictures . . . .

Here Eli is being re-positioned.

And he is off again. I love Cooper's face here!

Finally making a break for that water! How cute are Baylor, Parker and Cooper though!

Eli's first walk on the beach.

Eli's first Popsicle.

He loves the backpack,

Evening on the beach. The sand there is like powdered sugar, and I love when it is cool on your feet in the evening.

Driving the rental car (or so he thinks).

Playing in Baylor's "kitchen" on the beach. Baylor has the best imagination!

Eli loves Baylor and kept giving him hugs. Baylor has lots of practice with the little ones, and is really good with Eli.

The boys.
We did not plan to coordinate the two family's outfits, but it turned out really nice! Great minds think alike!

Eli really liked this puppy.

So big!

Love this face!

Tom and Parker.

Parker is such a cutie just like his brothers! I love how he smiles with his whole face!

I had so much fun with my little guy!

Playing in the shade on the white powdery beach.

Mr. Blue Eyes

Clapping for the sunset! Siesta Key has the most beautiful sunsets.

My two favorite guys.

Pals.

I'm so glad Tom and Carl are so close! We had a great time vacationing with the Hursts.

Our first family vacation.

Eli gearing up for his first birthday. He loves balloons.

Taking a cool nap after a day in the sun.
June 5th through the 12th we took Eli on his first vacation to Siesta Key. It is the most beautiful beach in the US and we love it there! We planned to go the same time our friends, The Hursts, would be there. We always have so much fun with them. Eli did wonderful on the plane. He was a hit with all the flight attendants and stayed awake the entire way. Once we were there, he loved the beach, the ocean and the pool. He truly is a water baby! We usually went to the beach in the mornings, came in for lunch, went to the pool in the afternoon, came in for a nap, and then went out for dinner. Eli took his first steps while we were there too! We had such a great time! I wish vacation didn't go by so fast!
