Easter 2011

Here we are before Easter Service this year.  I am so thankful for this family and for all that God has done in our lives.  I am thankful to have Jesus as my Savior, and I pray that all of my family and friends know Him and the sacrifice He made for us.  Today and all days "He lives within my heart"!

Eli and the girls before church.  (Yes, I know my face is getting "pudgy" as my co-worker put it so nicely.  But I am having a baby! Yay!)  I am thankful for my mom for inviting me to BSF this year.  We studied Isaiah, which I don't think I would have been able to get through just reading it on my own.  Eli came to Bible Study Fellowship with us too.  Although I think he is the bad one in his class, he really has learned.  I love when he puts his little hands together to pray and says, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Amen!"

The handsome guys before church.  Carl has been listening to the New Testament on cd when he is in the car.  I am so proud of him for making an effort to learn God's word.

This is another part of Easter that brings a smile to my face!  Eli was SO FUNNY dying  Easter eggs.  Can you see that each color is full, and some colors even have two eggs in them?  He moved the eggs around from color to color so quickly and methodically, I was thinking we should sign him up for the bell choir!

I love his busy little hands!

Eli did not love the color of his hands when we were finished!
Can you tell these are Eli's eggs?  I'm surprised they didn't all turn out brown.

Uncles Adam and Ben with Eli.
Eli really liked the tools the Easter Bunny brought.

The Easter Bunny brought these goodies to our house, and one big gift that didn't fit in the basket.

These came in the basket from Nana and Papa's house.

Nana and Papa got Eli an Easter wagon full of fun things, but I think he liked the wagon best!

Baby girl got a pretty Easter basket at Nana and Papa's too!
On the hunt for eggs . . . .

He loved hunting Easter eggs this year!  Every time he put one in his basket, he would look around for someone to yell, "yay!"

Thanks for your help dad!
He loved his basket from Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Carl too . . . especially his new trains!

The Easter Bunny brought a swing set to our house too, but said it was too rainy to put it together.  Eli wanted to help daddy and grandpa put it together.  He had his tools out and was wearing the tape measure on his belt!
Here they are picking out the right size screw.

He loves to slide and I know he will make good use of the swing set this summer!

Happy Easter everyone!
