Eli turned 7 months old Jan. 22nd. He weighs 20lbs and 2.5oz. I'm not sure how tall he is, but I know he has grown since his 6month appt. (which was 28 1/4") because we have had to change the height on his jumperoo. Last week he had to go to a pediatric opthamologist because one of his pupils is larger than the other. I thought he would have a fit when they dialated his eyes, but he did great! The doctor said his eyes are fine too. Whew! I kept hearing all these stories about kids wearing eye patches for a long period of time and thought, "Arrgh you kidding?". Ha. Eli also got his seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines, so I feel a little better about having him out and about. To date he hasn't had any illness, so we have our fingers crossed that it stays that way.
Eli's new favorite things are wagon rides around the house, green beans, butternut squash, his new bathtub, drinking out of a cup and rocking on all fours. I know he will be crawling around the house soon, and I'm not sure I'm ready! His first tooth is now poking through his bottom gums, but he has handled it pretty well. We are lucky to have a happy happy babe.
