Santa Party

Hanging out under the tree in his Santa Pj's.

Eli, you are such a good sport!

He got the reindeer and antlers along with a Christmas book as party favors from the Hursts.

"Thats enough reindeer pictures, mom!"

Today our friends, Cooper and Baylor, hosted a Santa Party. Unfortunately, my camera battery was dead, so you only get to see the "after pictures". When we arrived, the children were hard at work making a Christmas craft. Next we sang happy birthday to Jesus, and Tom, as always, said a beautiful prayer. We then had a delicious brunch complete with my favorite, Taylor's Bakery Santa cookies. After brunch, we had a special visit from Santa himself. He sang Christmas songs with the children, and everyone got their picture taken with him. After Santa left, the kids played nutcracker ring toss and pin the heart on the Grinch, which was super cute. We left with a bucket full of Christmas goodies. Eli, once again, was very laid back despite all the excitement . . . I can't wait to see how he does next year with Santa. It was truly a magical morning filled with lots of fun!
Tomorrow we are going over to Nana and Grandpa Jim's for a delicious surf and turf dinner, and we will be putting together a gingerbread house with Uncle Ben. I can't wait! It's the most wonderful time of the year!
